The Integration office of the University of Geneva manages various programs and projects aimed at fostering the integration of refugees or migrants with similar needs at UNIGE. It implements the Horizon académique program, a bridge program providing a pathway to begin or resume university-level education for people whose studies were interrupted due to exile. In collaboration with the Scholars at Risk network, the Integration office also coordinates the hosting program for at-risk scholars at UNIGE. It also organizes events and activities to raise awareness around the integration of refugees within higher-education institutions.

Attached to the Vice-Rector in charge of Campus life, Prof. Edouard Gentaz , the Integration office provides expertise for the entire university community with the aim of promoting the integration of refugees and migrants with similar needs at UNIGE, in line with the University’s equal opportunity goals.
